The following lists outline the file-types that are supported on Doxmart for preview and thumbnail generation.
Doxmart allows you to upload any file type you so desire. If we are able to generate a preview (which can be a PDF file, JPEG Image, MP3 sample or Flash Video sample) we will do so; we will however protect your intellectual property; and samples will NEVER give away your document's contents in manner that would allow the document to be used without purchase.
For text and image file types, where we can convert, we will block out half of the page, we also prevent copying from the PDF file to a text editor; or even printing the PDF samples in high quality.
For audio and video files, we will take a 30 second sample from the start of the video, and render that in low quality with copyright information embedded. These samples can then be played on the document's public page.
The lists below are not final; as we are constantly adding to the file-types that we can provide samples from. Please be sure to check them regularly; as well as the news panel on your My Doxmart page as we will announce any new file formats that can have samples generated for them.
In order to view the previews on the website optimally you will require Adobe Acrobat Reader and the Adobe Flash Player. You can conveniently download both these applications by clicking on the links below.
Both the links shown below will take you to sites that are outside Doxmart, and Doxmart is not resposible for any of the content on external sites.
Doxmart also provides a low fidelity preview using jpeg images for those users who do not wish to download Adobe Acrobat Reader.
