Protect yourself and your account

It is very important to Doxmart that you have both a safe and enjoyable experience on our site. Please take some time to read these helpful, common-sense tips.

Passwords and Access

  1. Make sure you use a strong password; the best passwords are made up of a combination of letters and numbers which helps protect your account from human or electronic hacking. Be sure not to use a password that others may guess, such as your name, date of birth or favourite sports team.

  2. Never share your password with anyone.

  3. Change your password regularly.

  4. Use a unique password for your account; one that is not valid for any other purpose.

  5. Do not write passwords down.

  6. Avoid allowing others to access your account without your supervision.

If you have forgotten your password go here to reset it.

Monitor Transactions

Monitor your Doxmart account regularly. Make sure the transactions you see are the ones you make. If you see anything suspicious please Contact Us as soon as possible.

Check also your credit card statements and bank account statements for any signs of unusual activity and report them to us, or your bank or law protection authorities as appropriate.

Spoof Emails and Phishing

All Doxmart emails to you will use your user name so that you know it’s really from us.

Be careful of links in emails especially those which ask you to leave personal information that do not show this information clearly.

If you have any doubts, please Contact Us as soon as possible with all details and we will be pleased to verify the email.

In the same way, if you receive an email which is clearly false, please Contact Us so that we can take action.

Doxmart allows you as a member to publish your Personal Profile. This page is intended to enable you to share any information you would like to with the community including details of your expertise, qualifications, academic or work history, or personal information of any kind.
