Rules For Buyers (Downloaders) and Sellers (Uploaders)

Doxmart's policies are designed to:

  1. Maximise opportunities for and minimise risks to buyers and sellers.
  2. Provide a pleasant experience.
  3. Support the values of the Doxmart Community as represented by The Doxmart Charter™.
  4. Comply with and support applicable laws and regulations.

Buyers (Downloaders) and Sellers (Uploaders) may not:

Interfere with a transaction or offer to buy or sell listed Documents outside the Doxmart site (Rules and Policies Summary).

Sellers (Uploaders) may not:

  1. Upload unacceptable, prohibited and restricted Documents (For further details, please see Unacceptable, Prohibited and Restricted Items).
  2. Upload documents to which they do not have ownership or copyright or which may violate trademarks or the intellectual property rights of others without permission (See Copyright Infringement Policy).
  3. Misrepresent documents or use misleading titles that do not accurately describe the Document for sale.
  4. List documents in inappropriate categories.
  5. Manipulate the upload listing system to avoid or circumvent Doxmart fees.
  6. Offer a catalogue of Documents from which buyers may directly order although it is acceptable for Documents to contain a description of other non-document services related provided by the Member.
  7. Include separate payment surcharges for buyers.
  8. Offer the opportunity through Doxmart to acquire the Document or any other documents outside Doxmart.
  9. Use their My Doxmart Profile Page to promote outside-of-Doxmart sales of Documents or prohibited items.
  10. Solicit payment to be made outside the Doxmart system.
  11. Solicit buyers to mail cash or use other payment methods not specified by Doxmart as accepted payment methods.
  12. Include links that do not conform to Doxmart's Rules and Policies. Links may not be included which link to further descriptions, email addresses, or non-Doxmart web pages. Links to Members' My Doxmart profile are acceptable.
  13. Use HTML and JavaScript in Document listings or 'Request Documents' sections.
  14. Offer or promote giveaways, lotteries, prizes or bonuses.
  15. Create a listing that does not offer any bona fide Document.

Sellers (Uploaders) must:

  • Pay all fees due in a timely manner. Failure to do so will result in suspension of the uploaded Document.

Taxation and VAT:

  • Sellers are responsible for relevant taxes and duties.
