What is the aim of Doxmart?

Doxmart is an on-line community that aims to allow people to capitalise on their knowledge, interact with each other and offer or receive help and advice on any topic.

Via Doxmart it is now possible for anyone to sell information and knowledge on the internet. This information can be in any form, such as documents, reports, e-books, plans, video/audio, photographs, software applications or spreadsheets, to name a few.

How will your charity benefit?

There are currently three ways that your charity can raise funds through Doxmart:

Encouraging your patrons to upload their documents and donate all or some of the proceeds from sales to you.
Referring members to Doxmart and benefiting from our generous affiliate programme
Selling your own documents

1) Encouraging patrons to donate the proceeds or documents to your charity

Doxmart has developed a proprietary system whereby members selling documents can choose who benefits from the sale of their documents. Doxmart encourages its members to dedicate all or part of royalties received to registered charities, bona fide community associations, or educations institutions. Using Doxmart, these types of organisations can now raise a new type of legacy funding in a totally innovative and very easy way.

2) The Doxmart affiliate programme

Doxmart offers a generous referral scheme whereby members who refer others are entitled to a referral commission on every document sale made by the member referred. By simply inviting your patrons to join Doxmart using the special electronic 'Tell a Friend' link your charity could earn a commission on all documents eventually sold by them. Those who sign up in this way would be 'linked' to you and you could see who has joined and view income earned from each one at any time.

3) Selling your own documents

Of course, your organisation could also be a document uploader and gain income directly from your intellectual property. What documents do you have giving advice or guidance that others might be willing to pay for? This could create a new source of income and exposure for you to the widest possible audience.

Future Doxmart developments and other initiatives

Doxmart will be development its affiliate programme in the coming months to provide more opportunities for earnings for organisations such as yours. Doxmart would also be very open to use its site for special fund raising opportunities; for example, if a high-profile patron of yours were to offer a document, book or audio or video file for sale for your benefit, we would be pleased to help publicise the act and work with you to achieve the best financial result for you.

Are there any other member benefits?

Privileged rates
As a qualified Charity Member you will receive the same benefits as our premium members (Gold Members) but without having to pay for them. The most important of these privileges is a reduced commission rate of only 12.5% on all documents sold by you. In addition, Doxmart will take only 12.5% commission regardless of member status in respect of documents where more than 50% of the proceeds are donated to your charity.

Free profile page
You can also have a free Charity Profile Page to present your organisation and its aims. This permanent tool can be used to generate leads, contacts and opportunities. You can add links to your website or legacy/donation pages.

High-visibility
Charity members will also be clearly identified on the site as will all documents whose royalties have been donated to a charitable organisation. Alternatively you have the option of publicising this donating opportunity to your patrons but maintaining a less publish presence on the Doxmart site if you feel this is more appropriate for your organisation.

Reduced-price sponsorship and promotion opportunities
Doxmart does not currently accept advertising; however, we are pleased to work with sponsors. For Charity Members we would be very happy to discuss the best and most cost-effective way to promote your organisation on the site.

What are the future development plans for Doxmart?

Our vision
Starting with online document trading Doxmart is moving quickly to become a community where people go to achieve things. Our vision is that by means of Doxmart people will be able to find documents and/or get in touch with other people creating relationships in the process that will help them find and take advantage of opportunities or overcome difficulties. We envisage communities of all kinds of helpful people interacting through well-trodden communication pathways. It is our sincere hope by such a time that Doxmart will have contributed to a revolution in charitable giving as people choose to leave documentary legacies to others, and, ultimately, that Doxmart will have contributed to making important knowledge more widely available and more affordable than it is now.
