Rosalyn Palmer
Communications Director, Doxmart

Communications Director Rosalyn Palmer is the architect behind the PR and Marketing direction of Doxmart.

A creative strategist at heart, she is a committed advocate for the project. Attracted by the concept of sharing one’s intellectual property, monetising one’s specialist knowledge and creating a marketplace where proven and practical knowledge could benefit all, Rosalyn saw immediately the vast potential of the site. She was also impressed by the imagination, rigour of thinking, and determination of the co founders Clive Mendes, Vito Fortunato and Andy Gilbert.

Prior to working with Doxmart, Rosalyn had an outstanding career in PR and integrated marketing. She cut her teeth in London working with the likes of Lynne Franks in the 80s and headed the Brylcreem brand team for Beecham Plc creating a campaign which was voted among the Top 10 Consumer PR Campaigns of the 20th Century by PR Week.

In 1998 the company she founded, RPPR, which, among other things, managed the PR for a notable number of personal development gurus including Edward de Bono, Tony Robbins, Robert Holden and Brandon Bays, won a PR Week Best Company Award. The following year Rosalyn was runner up in the coveted Women into business Awards. She later sold her company to move into brand consultancy having chosen to live overseas for several years.

Rosalyn is a keen advocate for education and sits on the advisory panel for PR at De Montfort University, Leicester. She is also a keen supporter of Cancer UK’s Race For Life, launching the Nottingham leg of the fundraising and speaking at key events.

Rosalyn has a degree in English Literature from Middlesex University.

Rosalyn is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and British Association of Journalists and holds an NLP Master Practitioner in Business certificate.
