In 2006 Clive D Mendes conceived of a web site where people could both make available, and have access to, the wealth of practical knowledge that exists, “gathering dust”, in computers across the world. He envisioned an online community, operating on free-market principles and involving thousands of responsible people worldwide. A resource to benefit the world by making tried-and-tested, practical “wisdom” in documentary form on practically every subject, easily and affordably available to whoever needs it. That site now exists and operates internationally as Doxmart which plays its part in creating new pathways for those seeking opportunities or working to overcome challenges in their personal or business lives as well as for those who want the world to benefit from their experience and know-how.
As founder and Managing Director, Clive D Mendes is looking forward to continuing to develop Doxmart’s range of services to find more ways to help its members cooperate to “get things done” quicker and better.

Prior to founding Doxmart, Clive gained a wealth of experience across many years in the insurance and financial services sector, mostly with UK giant Royal & SunAlliance. He held a variety of roles, occupying, ultimately, the post of Strategy Director for the world-wide group. At Royal Sun he pioneered the selling of insurance over the internet, through a company called Royal Insurance which he set up in Milan, Italy, and which was subsequently acquired by the Royal Bank of Scotland’s Direct Line.
Clive holds a number of degrees and qualifications - including an MBA and post-graduate management studies - from the Universities of Glasgow, Edinburgh, the Open University and the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania.
