Doxmart - Document Preview Information

Doxmart allows you to upload any type of file, but for file types not in the list below, a default thumbnail may be used if we are unable to create one for you.

If we are able to generate a preview (which can be a PDF file, JPEG Image, MP3 sample or Video sample), you will see this when viewing the document details, from the 'Uploaded Documents' page. Generated samples will NEVER give away your files' contents in any manner that would allow it to be used without purchase.

For text and image file types, where we can convert, we insert two thick stripes over each page of your document, we also prevent copying from the PDF file to a text editor, or even printing the PDF samples in high quality.

For audio and video files, we will take a 30 second sample from the start of the video, and render that in low quality with copyright information embedded. These samples can then be played when viewing the document details from either the search results, or on your 'Uploaded Documents' page.

In order to view the previews on the website optimally you will require Adobe Acrobat Reader and the Adobe Flash Player. You can conveniently download both these applications by clicking on the links below.

Both the links shown below will take you to sites that are outside Doxmart, and Doxmart is not resposible for any of the content on external sites.

    

Doxmart also provides a low fidelity preview using jpeg images for those users who do not wish to download Adobe Acrobat Reader.
