This is an agreement to assign a life policy or endowment. sometimes called a deed of assignment. It provides for the transfer of benefits under a life policy or assurance policy by the assignor to an assignee (who may or may not have paid for the assignment) either as a gift, in return for payment, or as part of a settlement on divorce or separation.
