The unit explains the importance of teaching your EFL students how to listen. It demonstrates simple techniques which work
Who is it suitable for ?
It is meant for the inexperienced and/or untrained teacher who has few resources except his/her own voice. It is suitable for teachers of students who are beginning to learn English
Who is it not suitable for?
It is not meant for highly qualified or very experienced teachers of English. It is not recommended for those teaching in a well resourced school or college where audio visual aids are in abundance It is not intended for those teaching advanced learners although the basic principles apply in any language teaching situation
What can a teacher learn from this unit?
The inexperienced teacher will acquire the basic skills to establish good listening habits in the classroom.
